Lexi: I was tired of the dating scene in Chicago, so I updated my Hinge to Michigan when I was back home for a weekend. Tyler was the first profile to pop up - he had a picture wake surfing on my lake and another picture wearing an Alabama hat next to Nick Dahl (family friend on the lake). I remembered hearing a while back, that Nick lived with a guy from Clarkston while at Alabama, so I figured this must be him! I proceeded to swipe up on the lake picture and comment "nothing like wake surfing on the Dahl's boat haha", knowing very well it would either be a hit or super creepy...

Tyler: When I got the message, I thought "how does this girl know who I am?", so I reached out to Nick to ask how he knew Lexi. Once he confirmed she was cool, I messaged back saying "now that's an impressive party trick knowing the location and the people lol". After messaging for a few weeks, we had our first date at The Fed in Clarkston. Within minutes of our first date ending, I deleted my Hinge and the rest is history!
